the entire fricking country has given a frick as this has been a hot and interesting topic for a while now. Your question is simploy retarded. People give a frick about Lynch acting like a bitch. Who gives a frick if Josh Gordon drinks some alcohol?

Pretty much. I don't hate the man entirely, but I find it refreshing and entertaining when the man gets his feathers ruffled, especially over something as unimportant as Lynch's antics. Who gives a frick?
Because he's simply breaking a rule he agreed to in his contract?
I would back Lynch 100% if people just expected him and wanted him to talk to the media, but to choose not to after you agree to it is completely different. It's pretty simple and I side with Stephen A on this

Anyway, the rule is that the player has to make himself "available" to the media. If he does not want to answer the questions, he does not have to answer...

Good for Stephen A, I agree with him.
Marshawn Lynch is a big spoiled baby, whaaaa let me cry and bitch bc I make millions of dollars playing a game but I have to do a few interviews along the way.
He's an attention whore and if ESPN didn't glorify it then people wouldn't care near as much.

frick Steven A. Media always gets pissy when people do not want to talk to them.
Did u even read everything he said? Yea who cares about following rules in your contract now a days. The "entitlement" generation is out in full force on this one

Yea, him being there he's not. I'm talking to the people who don't think he should be forced out there and think the media is just whining because he won't talk to them. I think it's selfish and childish the way he handles it when he does talk but have no real problem with that part

How is he violating his contract? He is making himself available to the media..
Posted on 1/28/15 at 10:26 am to Bigbuick
Lynch is following the rules. So how is Stephen A right?

I was a little surprised on his take on Lynch not speaking to the media. Here is a one of the many statements he made.

When you condone folks flagrantly disregarding rules & regulations you are sending the wrong message to present & future generations.
Oh He Mad, because Lynch did an Interview with white boy Kenny Mayne.

I should have been more clear in my posts. He's not violating his contract by being there. I'm more talking about the people who bitch at the media and the nfl for "forcing" him to be there

What are Steven A's opinions on Ray Lewis, or Michael Irvin? They don't shy away from reporters, but I'd rather Marshawn Lynch as my neighbor any day of the week. When Aaron Hernandez was under contract with the Patriots did the NFL expect him to help promote the brand? How many interviews did he refuse to give?
The same way people generally are turned off by laziness, flakiness, and irresponsibility.

I'm talking about when he won't show up or make himself available. If he wants to sit there and say the same thing over and over then more power to him

Lynch should rebel against his rebellion and give actual answers.
Would be incredible

I would have thought that if someone wanted some meaningful insight into the game, they'd avoid Lynch... The reporters should be asking questions to the other guys that want to talk. Unless they were :gasp: wanting these interviews all along.
at the people all rustled by Lynch.

He's abiding by the rule of his contract that states he has to available but doesn't dictate that he has to communicate anything of worth. And I do agree with his stance that it's shitty that players have to be available on the regular but Goodell hides like a pussy when the media comes after him.
I'm sure the NFL will probably start trying to close that loophole in contracts with some kind of language that states they have to do more than just be available.

quote:Exactly, he doesn't want to talk to the media...plain and simple. Him sounding like a broken record is the quickest way to get the media out of his face.

You'd be surprised at how much you agree with him if you ever heard him on his radio show, and not the entertainer you see on tv.
