If the kid is a brat - it's the fault of the PARENT!

The coaches went with Jennings and reeled off 3 straight sec wins and a loss to the refs. They made the rt call. Now I agree, they could have done something in the arky game, that was an embarrassment. Cane back and beat tamu, and then the defense failed us in the bowl game.

Next year is a new season. No one knows who is going to start, but they started Harris sooner than any qb not due to injury.

Flynn's first start was injury to jmarc, rps first two starts were injury to Flynn, Lee started after hatch got injured, JJ started after Lee got injured.

So IMO they wanted to get Harris going, he just didn't make that decision easier on them. Harris himself tweeted he had to put in the work to see the field. The guy was calling plays out of the wrong formations, you just can't have that.

But he is an idiot as well. Telling BH to go the juco route with the amount of young talent on this team is just dumb. The freshman and sophmore classes at LSU next year are among the best offensive groups in the country. But yeah Brandon, go juco for a year and find somewhere better.

ETA: Even if BH doesn't play a down next season, his junior and senior year there will be so much talent around him, it will be ridiculous.

I get that Harris may not have been ready to take on a significant role, but I do wonder why they didn't have certain packages to get him on the field more.

I've heard all the rumors about his maturity and dedication, but I also know from family and friends up here in NWLA that Harris is a good kid, very smart with a good family and was "mature". The coaches talked glowingly about him at the QB camp in AZ. Now maybe college life and influences away from home got to him, but from what I know of him and his family he just needs good mentors and coaching to succeed.

I just hope he lights it up in the spring because the kid has the talent.
