Years after the tragedy, I ended up becoming friends with one of the widows and actually rented her house for a brief time in the mid 90's. She put on a nice facade but she was sort of lost in it all even that long after. And their kids were so troubled and had so many questions about their Daddy.

I'm sorry you lost your job that day, but so many others had it way worse. It still makes grown men cry when the subject comes up. I've lived in the same neighborhood as a lot of engineers that worked that program and it's not something they like to discuss.
