This is surprising.
If anyone but Sherman had said this everyone would think this was a brilliant idea. You guys hate Goodell. You just hate Sherman more.
Anyway, it was a tongue-in-cheek comment. People need to lighten up.

Upvoted. Like it or not, almost everyone would rather hear Roger Goodell answer questions this week over any player in the Super Bowl. If the point of the players speaking is to give the fans what they want, well...what we really want is to hear the rat-faced commish try to weasel his way out of another scandal under his watch.
To those that say he wouldn't have much to say without the scandals - Finding out what Goodell thinks of the defensive penalty spikes this year (or even who he thinks is the favorite) is more entertaining than player A from Super Bowl Team A regurgitating played out lines we've heard before.
