Might have well have asked how much money people make.
If you're doing it for exercise, run 2 miles without killing yourself, and you've got your benchmark. Try to keep beating that.

Running is mentally one of the hardest sports. You push yourself to the extreme. Almost all people just stop running at some point, but legit runners will push until they drop if need be.
Once you figure out how to run (pace, steps, timing, breathing, etc), it gets much easier and you can step up the pace
