So Paste ranked the 37 best imperial stouts, what are your thoughts on the list?

LINK

TenFidy is one of my favorite beers out there so I thought the ranking of 6 was well deserved. I'm also a big fan of the lower ranked ones like SW Happy Ending at 24 and Green Flash Double Stout at 32. I'm thrilled to see two local Alabama beers in the top 10. Both are well deserved with Straight to Ale Laika at 10 and Good People El Gordo at 1. If you guys get a chance to drink some of the beers Good People is putting out, do it. They are doing great things in Birmingham.

Of the ones I have tried on the list my ranking would be:

Ten Fidy

Founders

Brooklyn

Breakfast

Choklat

Expedition

New Belgian Salted

Boulevard Dark Truth

Creme Brulee( this is good if you look at it as a desert beer with small servings)

Happy Ending( This is not an Imperial Stout)

I have a Storm King in the fridge for tonight.

Also thought Old rasputin would be high up on the list along with Prairie Bomb rather than Xmas Bomb.

Parish's IR would easily land in the top 15.

How regular Bomb! isn't on there is a mystery.

The southeast bias on that list is really strong.
