I don't get the impression that this would be any different. Looks like these are built for rocky rivers. That leads me to believe they would encounter the same problems as a typical ski. I do know the jet foot guys who run around here change out the impeller from aluminum to stainless. They last a lot longer in the sand and pebbles. Maybe that is something that would come standard on here.
