re: Spin-Off: What was your first computer?

I started out on the old TRS-80 consoles, with the cassette drives, in 1st grade. We eventually upgraded to Apple IIe's at school. My first PC was a Quantex with 100mhz pentium, 16mb RAM, 850mb hard drive, with Win3.1. I had a voucher for Win95, when it released. It had a 14.4 modem that I used to connect to Excalibur boards and Kermit into LSU's internet service. My first Internet experience, at home, was text based for a while.
