For real. People are always begging M and M to stay next year then bitch about how much they suck after every game.

For real.
And people bash on Martins D non stop.... His defensive rating in 18th in the SEC, 2nd on LSUs team out of the starters, and is 5th in the SEC in defensive win shares.
Yet people act like he just gives up buckets all game long. He's not an elite defender by any means, but he's not as bad as people act like.

Not exactly a magical discovery you're making. SOME people want them to get better this year AND be on the team next year. Not really a shock.
