Just curious, can someone who has seen both play, compare Shea to Brandon. It seems based on the reactions on here to Shea, most consider him a much better QB that Brandon. If so, in what areas is he better? Also can someone compare their stats?

Shea is much more polished at this time and I have no idea how long he's been playing. He is more accurate than Harris as well. Harris obviously has better physical tools, but is also very raw since he's only played QB 2 years before coming to LSU.

If Patterson picked up the offense, he could start as a true freshman, however I believe Harris will be set to dominate in 2016.

Harris
junior - 49.6% 2673 yards (8.73 ypa) 26 TDs 7 ints, 677 rush yards 12 TDs
senior - 63.3% 3518 yards (10.6 ypa) 37 TDs 9 ints, 1153 rush yards (8.0 ypc) 17 TDs

Patterson
soph - 61.8% 2655 yards (11.9 ypa) 34 TDs 4 ints, 241 rush yards (3.2 ypc) 3 TDs
junior - 64.8% 2438 yards (12.2 ypa) 38 TDs 3 ints, 134 rush yards (2.4 ypc) 3 TDs

People say this all the time and it is rarely true. Maybe some air it out spread west coast teams can do that, but we don't run that. Shea will need some time too. Look at his passes in traffic on his highlights. He is barely missing HS LBs in over the middle passes. You don't think backs in the SEC will eat that up all day? Kid has great potential, but the LSU fanbase simply ruins average to above average QBs because they want results now and if you don't produce, you get booed. Expect he will need at least a redshirt year to get ready.

Yeah, I think Harris is going to be a monster by that time.
