Not to be a Debbie downer, but does anyone else have serious concerns about his arm strength downfield? Seems to be his biggest weakness. The most succesful QBs in this offense are the Mett/Flacco type that can sling the ball downfield. Shea certainly has everything else you look for.

Mett threw a ton of slants and 10-15 yard back shoulders throws

Not at all. It's not elite, but it's above average. There's a throw he makes from the 50 to end zone on the outside that shows me all I need to see. His offensive line wasn't spectacular, but his pocket awareness is off the charts.

How far you want him to throw? I've seen him throw 50 yards flat footed. If LSU needs to throw a hail marry then bring in franks an let him throw that 70 mph ball lol
