I was reading this thread, not knowing who he is and wishing I had met him. Then I realized I had...he officiated a game I was coaching a few years ago. I asked him why he made a specific call.
His response: "I can see the court better from this altitude"

That absolutely represents the Greg Sollie classroom experience.
Man was he funny.
Made learning fun. Especially at 7:15 in the morning (I had him first period my senior year).
