The QB position and Brandon Harris

Correct me if I am wrong here, I have been told that Harris only has 2 real years at the QB spot. His senior year in high school and last year at LSU. If this is the case he has a lot to learn, the talent is there but the QB spot isn't a position you just pick up and do on a whim. His progress should be huge this year if he puts the time in and learns his craft. Can anyone verify his years at the spot?

That cleared that up. Thanks

Even if he has 3 months of experience, he deserves another shot.

I don't care if he has been the starting quarter back since he was leading his 8 year old pee-wee team to a city championship. Making a jump from a senior high school quarterback to the starting QB of LSU takes some time.

I know he played as a Jr. but I do believe he has not played the position for very long.
Sammy?
Sammy?

I agree, I just think he needs time to mature at the position is all. Most of these elite 5* kids play QB from the age of 5 and have private instruction and lots of other advantages. For him to be where he is is a testament to his talent.

Because LSUs offensive scheme is so complex, right? I'm not saying this is the rule, but look around the country at the first year qbs that come in and have success. Why is LSU so different? shite, Ohio St. found 3 qbs that had success this year. We can't find 1.

Junior Highlights
Why didnt we get this stud more pt at the end of last year. He had a better arm his junior year in hs than Jennings did all season

Who gives a dang about experience I'm sick of people giving miles a pass to play Jennings Over Harris..... If you want someone to get experience you put em in the game

You make no sense. Ohio State HAS a simple offense, that's why it can be run by a less-than-polished QB. Ours is complex, which is why young QBs have difficulty with it.

Why do you automatically assume that the difference between the two offenses is the complexity of the scheme and not the talent or development of the QBs?
What about OSUs offense makes it seem less complex than ours? Half of our passing plays have less than 3 options. Hell, I've seen some plays this season with 1 receiver running a route. It doesn't get much more simple than that.

How many OSU games did you actually watch this year?

you mean you think he deserves another shot in games where we, the fans, can decide if he's good enough.
you probably don't realize that he gets his shot in practice and that the coaches know where he is in his development, both skill wise and leadership wise.
if you had played football at a higher level you would know this.

3. Coincidently that was more than enough to know that their offensive scheme was more complex than the one we were running.
Now do you want to keep deflecting and talking out of your arse, or do you want to explain to me how OSUs offensive scheme is less complex than ours?
