People didnt hate them when they had Hakeem or Yao/TMac like they do now.
People definitely hated the Rockets when we had Yao and T-Mac. McGrady was constantly trashed for not giving a frick, even though it was just his natural demeanor to look bored. And when we added Artest, oh boy. You should have been here when New Orleans had CP3 and West. So many Rockets haters.

No they didn't. If anything people were more upset they were robbed of seeing those two play any meaningful time together due to injuries.
you're on crack if you think the Yao/TMac Rox were disliked anywhere near the way people dont like this current squad.

I loved the Yao - TMac Rockets and cheered for them most years to come out of the West. Yao was a stand up guy and TMac was one of those "he might drop 45+ any night" guys. We don't really have those in the league anymore cause there's so much depth around the stars.
Yao and D12 could not be more different.
Good teams have haters followed by a Patriots comparison? Holy shite man. You're delusion is reaching boom levels you might want to take a step back. You're better than that imo.
