Its latest project, the Apple Watch, sure looks like a smartwatch, and it might be very successful, but is it doing anything totally unique? Is it really exciting? No.
Well I disagree with that right off the bat. You know everyone's gonna want one and no one has made a wearable that's come even close to taking off yet. Once again everyone's waiting on Apple to make it feasible for a large audience. Same exact thing with Apple Pay.
The HoloLens part looks really neat, but I see that going the way of 3D TV. Really cool idea and people who have the funds and interest will buy it, but it will never come close to being widely utilized.

Well that statement just simply is not true. No one is waiting around for Apple. There are plenty of companies putting out smart watches and payment systems.

diagree with the first part
agree with the second part
after 3+ months with my android watch i can tell you i've grown dependent on it. its basically a more 'socially acceptable' way to receive notifications.
that's mainly it. i've also gotten quite used to the voice command (particulary in my car) but you cant respond to texts notifications in meetings by talking to your watch or you look like a complete douche.
but the hellfire of notifications that constantly bombard me...? yes and yes. the watch is worth the $75 just to keep my phone clear of 100 notifications when i finally get around to using it.
