Some people should be forced to take a plane etiquette class. I flew this past weekend and both ways whenever we landed, practically everyone from the middle to the back jumped up and started trying to go ahead and push forward. It's like hey morons, we unload front to back. Settle the frick down.

Flying back from NYC a few weeks ago, our plane was delayed leaving, so we were 30-45 minutes late landing in Houston. The flight attendants said several times that anyone with a long connection or at their final destination should let people trying to make rushed connections get off first.

So... as soon as the plane landed everyone got up and tried to force their way off, connection or not. Assholes.

Fortunately we caught the flight to BTR, but they had the jetway door closed when we got there... we got lucky.

It's assholery at its finest. Plane was delayed an hour and a half once from Phoenix to Dallas, and the flight attendants say this, and 90% of the plane gets up. I have a job interview lined up and had about 15 minutes to board on the other side of the airport. Barely made the flight thanks to the assholes who wouldn't wait 5 minutes to let the people who actually have a connection make their flights. Assholes.
