At this stage in the game Tuba > Elbert. Tuba was aggressive and actually had decent hands. Elbert has none of the above. Hopefully he can improve down the road.
Darcy has great handles and nice touch on his shot. But, how can he get 4 fouls and still come away with 0 rebounds. A lot of times he is still guarding his man after the ball is shot instead of blocking out and looking for the rebound. Seems like an easy fix yet I haven't seen him improve this part of his game.

Before everyone freaks... remember TQ jump. Notice the jump in Jarell.
Those are all guys who have not played at the highest level ever. Meaning in HS they were sheltered from the elite leagues or elite travel HS ball that is required to be ready to play day one.
Now look at Patterson and watch the Killer B's next year and they'll be much more ready day one. They've played on elite circuits (summer and HS) for years now and it'll show.
Just remember this when Elbert "somehow" completely transformed his game in one season. Lol
Fwiw, takes even longer for a guy like Darcy who was a few notches below and has longer to catch up.

I couldn't disagree more. Tuba's development was remarkable (great coaching, IMO), but Elbert has started at a place better than Tuba's ceiling. The difference is Tuba had to play and ER3 can't crack the rotation. That's the John Jones recruiting kicking in.

Tuba wasn't worth anything until he was a 22 year old senior after THREE years in the system.
Robinson is a freshman.
HUGE difference.
