re: Seeking advice for things to keep me entertained in Scottsdale, Az this week

For dining check out either of the Oregano's in Scottsdale- one close to Old Town and the other is on the SE corner of Scottsdale Rd. & Shea Blvd.

Friday night I highly recommend checking out The Buffalo Chip in Cave Creek (north of Scottsdale) for the live bull-riding. Very cool place with a mixed crowd (bikers, cowboys, families, tourists and lots of women) and great place to people-watch. They always have great live music inside and the bull-riding is outside with bonfires across the property. Just a very cool atmosphere. Took a college buddy and his father there the Friday after New Years' and they raved about the place. Decent food, too. Cave Creek is a cool little town.
