So I'm guessing you grew up in the 90s. Willing to bet anyone who grew up in the 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s would say the same thing about their decade. It's called being young, having your parents pay for stuff, and not really having to worry about bills, jobs, reality, etc.
BTW, 80s destroys 90s when it comes to cartoons. And while I enjoyed coming of age in the 90s, I'm pretty sure the 80s were a lot more fun and loose for young adults. 1990s is when someone decided that everything fun or interesting is offensive.

Ah the 90's. You played outside with the neighborhood kids because your game system didn't have internet. When you called a girl, you had to ask a parent or sibling if you could talk to them. You could smoke anywhere. If you beat up a kid that was picking on you, no one got sued or expelled. Teams had try-outs. Everyone had scrambled HBO or a "box" that unscrambled it. It was fun...but it's long gone.

The 90's were good but the 80's were better IMO.

Leave out Enron and Reality TV, then flip your 9 upside down.

Innocence? Did you miss the 70's or 80's? Innocence in America has been gone for a really really long time.

the economy was booming,
I love how Bill Clinton takes full claim for this and he gives Bush, the president before him zero credit.
Now Obama is president and the economy sucks. He gives Bush, the president before him all of the blame.
Typically liberal logic.
