Niner boards are saying Baalke (49ers GM) is a little hesitant because of Kiffins baggage, looking like its 50-50. Their insiders are saying he would take the job if offered.

Are their insiders saying if/when he even interviewed for the job?

I'm just not buying the interest in him at the NFL level as legit. I think he has one more year as OC at Bama and then he takes a college HC job at some place along the lines of a Houston type job (i know that job was just filled by OSU's OC, just using it as a benchmark example)

I kiiiiinda hope he does take it. I watched the Pats play the other night. Swarming, punishing D, No open receivers, BALL CONTROL offense that is run heavy, and killing the LB's. Reminds me of Bama in Sabans early days. It was so fun to watch the other team stand on the sideline and not run 100 plays because we are in the HUNH and score 52 by the half or winn 49-42 or 55-44. I want us back to controlling TOP and playing keep away. Give AU 65 snaps and not 90. Getting 27 pts but holding the other team to 10 and holding the ball for 40 minutes and making their arse quit.

The look on Lucks face is what I used to see on visiting QB's in BDS circa 2008-2011.
This west coast stuff is fun to watch but its not gonna win a championship. How you play offense DIRECTLY correlates to how effective your defense is.
I'd like to see a James Campen from GB or Andy Ludwig come in.
