He ran really hard last year too. It wasn't just his contract year. He didn't sniff 1000 last year because he never got the chance to carry the load the way he did this season. Plus, as you said, he had some issues with durability. I still say Loomis busts his arse to make a deal work. The deciding factor may not be the Saints, it may be Ingram's desire to find a situation where he's not sharing carries.

I agree that he may want to leave, but I don't see him playing with heart, like his contract year. If he stay, I wish him the best.

God I hope not. He has been a bust. He has one SEMI decent year in what, 4 years? I can't see teams lining up to pay him either. He is an average, to slightly below average NFL back. I get that Saints backs haven't rushed for 1,000 yards in the Saints pass happy offense....but backs should be tearing it up when they do get the chance to run.....like Ivory or other backs that the Saints have had that come out of nowhere. The yards per carry for Ingram have not been great up to this year.......good riddens.
