There's no reason we are so terrible at zone o other than the coach. There's nothing complicated about beating it. Move the ball, penetrate, find the open spots at the elbow and the short corner. Passing the ball slowly around the perimeter will eventually lead to a long three. The ball needs to get inside, but most importantly, the ball needs to move quicker, much quicker than what we do.
quit catching the ball 4 feet behind the 3 point line, can't run an offense from there.
A team plays zone b/c they either are too nonathletic to play man, or they know their opponent can't shoot and are poorly coached. Every team we play sits in a zone most of the game. How we haven't learned how to beat it is beyond me.

The coach isn't passing the ball. I'm sure Jones tells them not to try and penetrate, or by the ball to our 2 best post players...this is what I say about players need some blame. Most zone offenses are the same, but it's up to players to execute plays
