Patterson and Gray don't do the same things though. Patterson plays a lot off ball and isn't asked to drive into the lane or split double teams.

Absolutely. They do totally different things. I like them both for what they bring. Patterson is more like Anthony Hickey where he doesn't turn the ball over, but he doesn't make things happen either. Having him play off ball has been really good. He makes good decisions and has been making shots lately.
