Yeah, this is stupid. He developed an excellent defense here at LSU. In this age of football, there's not another university that had the success LSU had against every type of offense. Bama, for example, could not handle spread offenses very well. Chavis handled them all most of the time.
Chavis is an excellent coach. I don't think he's other-worldly, or the best in the business, but he's certainly one of the top ten in the game.
