TAM had 410 yards in the first game (276 passing), and they were driving, down 17-12, with 3:30 to go before an INT by Tharold Simon. one play later, Hill broke out for a 47 yard TD. TAM then went 80 yards in about 90 seconds and it was 24-19 with 1:17 to go. luckily LSU recovered the onside kick after that.

This is the kind of stuff that gets forgotten in some of the wins we've had the last few years. Chris's scheme has almost cost us the win several times. The defense hasn't been the sole earner of wins as many would have you believe.

I've been saying this for years. There were a bunch of "almost" losses that were on the defense too.
