Because of personnel changes and improved play by the dline as the season went on.

shite that could have been more on Haley than chavis, getting better play from the dline.

I know people want to think welter was Miles boy, but I find it more realistic he made chavis make the change to beckwith then the other way around.

More I think about it, Miles said the defense needed an answer. Then boom, more pt for Adams and beckwith. That prob had more to do with miles getting involved.

I'm no insider, so I don't know. CHavis defense was always really good with the exception of his "prevent" scheme. He deserves credit.
