Then you need to get a new critic; no way any reviewer should rate this movie any better than average, and that's a bit of a stretch.
And the casting was terrible not because this character shouldn't look like the actor they chose, but because the actor they chose couldn't evoke a single emotional response.
After seeing Blackhat today, I'm going to go ahead and say that In the Heart of the Sea is going to bomb. For all the action they pack into that trailer, a whale can only slam into a boat so many times before the audience looses interest. That movie is going to require a complex lead role to pass time between attacks and Hemsworth just proved that he can't deliver.
