But still, the glock just crushed that ammo.

Also forgot to mention the guy at precision tested the firing pin by shooting a stick out of it. He said that its not a perfect test, but definitely appears to be striking hard enough,

I would get a variety of different brands of ammo and try to find one that it will fire every time, then stock up on that and stick with it. Stayaway from the Russian/Romainian/Yugo ammo as the military primers they use are typically harder than commercial US made ammo. Try Remington, Winchester, Federal etc.

If after doing this and are not successful, only recourse is to send it back to Taurus again.

Steel-cased ammo is notoriously unreliable and usually has very hard primers. But it still probably doesn't inspire confidence that your handgun doesn't go 'bang' every time you pull the trigger.

I don't absolutely hate Taurus, although I probably won't ever own one. But I can tell you from an objective point of view that they cut corners on most things to keep costs down. How else could they sell a gun that cheaply when everyone else is more expensive? "You get what you pay for" and "Buy once, cry once" both have a lot of meaning here.

If you want an affordable handgun, I really like the Ruger 9E. It's based on their SR9 handgun but takes less time for them to make. Mechanically the two are identical, which is the most important part. If you decide to get rid of the gun, here's my educated suggestion.
