I am a PT. I have my doctorate. I don't address myself as Dr. to patients but I'm "technically" a Dr. The education PT's get is comparable to those in med school. It is soley based on the musculoskeletal and neuro systems. However, it is not required to go through residencies... Yet.

Yea, Scruffy knows. He has plenty of friends who are PTs.
It's fun to poke fun at people though.
So much animosity.

Same thing is happening with the term engineer.
