I like Miles and believe that coaches can improve with talent. Kevin should be fine with great players but I do not like this hire.

Am I missing something here. He wasn't the coach I coveted the most.... or at all really.

But ALL coaches have a past that includes a couple of beat-downs. Most have coached a couple of teams that didn't perform well.

As far as I know, what's important is when the results aren't what you want do you reflect, learn and employ strategies to fix it.

I know Steele has worked around some brilliant coaches whereas to brainstorm with and learn from.

What i want to know is WHAT IS IT THAT IM MISSING???

I've never talked to the dude nor know him. I couldn't imagine how smart he is, nor and how much he knows about defense. He may have presented himself as the best candidate I'm supposing.

COULD SOMEONE TELL ME WHY PEOPLE ARE ACTING LIKE THIS?

fOR WHATEVER FAULTS HE HAS, SABAN THOUGHT ENOUGH TO HAVE HIM ON STAFF

This is the Swan Song for Miles. And I'm beginning to think it can't come soon enough.

Probably a stop-gap hire, like promoting Stud to OC. Guessing the timing and surprise ultimately cost Les. Defense will probably be pedestrian but not awful due to Steele's experience. I wouldn't be surprised to find ourselves in the market for a new DC a year or two out.

Worked around brilliant coaches and has been coaching for like 30 years... and he was just a LB coach?

Top 5 what? In points allowed? Could happen.

It's amazing what gigantic bloody counts 90% of you are. At least we will probably get rid of half of you after you pussies jump off the cliff.

There's a huge difference to having someone on staff and having them be your DC. See Malveto.

I can't imagine Alabama and Saban paying 700K a year to a guy that sucks.

Not a splash pic for sure but the panic is over the top.

Besides if the panic's are right they will get their wish and CLM will be gone.

Its a win win guys!

He's either good or Les is gone. Yall should be dancing
