At what cost? If he were on a 1 year/$2 million deal, I would agree with you. $11 million over 3 years does not excite me.
This move says to me that moving Gordon and creating cap space, what most of us want, is not the direction they are going. They are either going to be happy with adding a guy like DeMarre Carroll with the MLE or trade Ryno for a SF. If the cap space QPon is taking up won't be used then the only thing that matters is he plays well enough to be a $3 million bench player.

In locker room, Quincy Pondexter said his phone is blowing up with family "panicking". He said he plans to talk to his agent in a few mins
Oh lurd.

I think the plan changes like the weather.

Good move by dell. Qpon is exactly what we need and will be great especially this year. I think this is a solid bandaid for this years SF problem.
What does this mean for Cunningham's chances of being resigned if we dont move anderson for a SF and sign an MLE SF to be signed this offseason?

If Gordon and Evans buy into their roles, I don't think sticking with this roster for now is a bad plan. Use the MLE to get perimeter help, sign Cunningham into the BAE.
Say you get Carroll, that's a balanced roster that allows you to do different things with lineups and still have multiple shooters on the floor.
QPon needs to rediscover his game after his injury. And of course, Monty needs to step up. But a good mix of size (finally) and skills.
