I can see how the constant traveling back to LA or the south would be a turn off for some. Doesn't really bother me much.
I've got an uncle who lives in the Kirkland area. I've asked him about areas in the city that are decent for someone my age. But his opinion is kind of warped. So I don't put too much stock in it.
