I could play games while holding them while they napped within the first month or 2. Then they started crawling and didn't want to be held any more and I had to get up so many times to make sure they weren't about to kill themselves that I just gave up on gaming for a while outside of when they were asleep. Then they got into a brief phase where they would play with toys on their own, so I could sneak in a little game time here and there. Then they started getting interested in what I was playing and I had to begin being mindful of what they were seeing on screen. Playing age appropriate games in front of them is still a big thing but now they want to grab the controller and play. However, most console / PC games are just too complex for them at this time. It will always be in flux and you'll just adapt as they develop.

This is all referring to single player. If you mean multiplayer...well you already know that my gaming habits are so sporadic that multiplayer gaming is pretty tough to come by with any sort of consistency. I still don't do that nearly as much as I used to pre-kids. I don't see that changing for a long time.
