The frustration is understandable IMO.

Of course, but lashing out against players and coaches using lazy and mostly wrong analysis is unacceptable.

The issue is every time LSU bball is on the cusp they shite the bed with a horrid effort. Last night wasn't just mizzou getting lucky and hot from 3.

we lost because of 19 turnovers, horrible free throw shooting and bad shot selection. if we don't choke from the line it wont matter how hot mizzou was. This team has tourny talent on it, a nice win vs wvu but still has a razor thin margin for error because it plays in the sec. we just dropped a game that we had no business dropping. We can't afford to lose to UGA on saturday.

Uh, no. That victory helped get them into consideration. Road victories moving forward will be necessary and probably none easier than at Mizzou available on this schedule.

Oh no it was 100% meant for you. Shoulder the load? Please dumbass... this is tiger droppings, it's the internet. There is no load for someone to carry because some nerd gets on here and criticizes athletes over a college game.

Mickey sucks he should be benched? Really. He was bad tonight, it happens.

I am concerned about his fairly consistent lack of offensive efficiency this year and lack of progress in that area. Too many games of below 50% FG percentage. And the turnovers the other night were just mindless, unsound plays you'd expect from a wide-eyed frosh.

Can't have any more games that bad from him offensively. Margin for error is pretty much razor thin now.

Like @ West Virginia?

I guess we punched our ticket with that win, huh? No need to worry about any bad losses after winning that one. We're a lock.

The knee jerk reaction that LSU somehow dramatically lessened its chances at making the NCAA tourney with the loss to Mizzou is what I'm contesting. LSU's RPI is higher right now than it's been in years...the opportunity to make or not make the big dance is the same regardless of the outcome the other night...

Whatever the case, half of you will expect the team to lose all remaining conference games and the other half recognize that LSU basketball is becoming a player on the national scene for years to come because of Johnny Jones.

CJJ's recruiting will make us relevant in hoops but I would like to see it go a step further.

I just feel like what we aren't getting the most out of what we have, especially last year and so for this.

When the cavalry comes it and it will, we'll certainly win more, but if we still aren't getting the most out of what we have we may miss some good opportunities.

I'd just like to see more consistent progress on the court, developing more consistently as a team, correcting recurring fundamental issues more quickly and assertively.

He'll have more than a fair chance. I hope he can.

I believe the issue is that the Missouri game is the exact type of game you cannot lose if you're expecting to take that next step as a program. The SEC is a two-four bid conference, depending on if UF gets their shite together and if we can beat UK or split/sweep arKansas. We have too much talent to be dropping a game to Mizzou in an atmosphere that is anything but electric, and to take that next step we need to not play down to a bad team.

Good Loss/Bad loss is one of the main criteria always considered come selection time.

I may end up being wrong, but IMHO Mizzou will end up being a bad loss. I don't think you can dismiss the significance of the loss. It essentially cancels out UWV.

Now we can make up for it down the road, but to get there we have to reverse concerning trends like turnovers and general undisciplined play and to this point you wonder if CJJ can get that done.

Agree. And while the big 10 is down compared to last year the SEC is still not on that level to get the benefit of the doubt. We really need Gray to figure it out. Can't have a turnover machine at PG.
