We just seem to go after guys who don't care.. They know it greatly affects LSU's chances at ever getting a title and leave anyway. Its different if you're projected in one of the first few rounds but guys leave with chances of not even getting drafted
Why should they care.
-We boo our team
-We leave early at big games
-We bash our players on forums
-We screw up contracts between key coaches
They're goal of coming to college is to perfect a craft that will provide for them in the future. If they feel that theyve done that, good riddance.

Nobody cares about winning a championship anymore and improving stock. I would say it's more of a reflection on the HC because they don't have confidence he can right the ship. If you look at Bama they lose a lot of players too but they also keep players they shouldn't because they have respect for Saban.
We're not going anywhere with all our juniors constantly leaving. We'll have to get extremely lucky with an insane freshman class or somehow get lucky with a junior class staying. At least 3 loss season from here on out. LSU needs to do a better job at selling to these guys it's smart to stay for a once in a lifetime opportunity while also increasing stock.
You can't stay young in the SEC and expect to win it. I really hate how we sell 3 and done. It's a great thing but also a terrible thing to the program. It's great for recruiting but it doesn't sustain serious championship competeting for you.

Check the LSU roster
If there's a JR next to someone's name, that means they're gonna opt for the draft.

These posts are just comical.

Really? If you haven't noticed since the rule change in the NFL LSU has been on the steady decline and it's directly attributed to never keeping juniors and staying needlessly young in positions they should be mature in.

Most of the players hate school. They only come to college to play football. They couldn't get in if it wasn't for football and they want to get out as soon as possible and draw a paycheck to play football.
This is reality. Get used to it. Hey great basketball players(Ben Simmons) only stay one year. Football has it easy next to that.

Although pay to play may be crazy, players, Seniors at the least, should be able to get some kind of bonus or compensation for winning championships, SEC or national. Hell, everybody else involved does.

I text'd my friend who plays on the team when I first heard the rumblings of Hunter leaving saying "heard Hunter is leaving. We'll miss him". He replied back and said "yeah, he's at my apartment now". I replied back and asked if he was for sure going to leave and he said "yeah, he's going pro"
I think we'll be ok at DE though. Bower, Teuhema Neal, Clark and maybe move Herron back to DE. Not sure about MJ Patterson. The Washington kid coming in has some nice size as well.

I'd rather us go after guys who will come for the school itself, not just use LSU as an easier way to get to the league by just riding on our reputation for NFL players. Other schools seem to have talented seniors come back for hopes of titles or love of their school
Naïve.
We recruit elite players. Consequently, the NFL will draft these players when they're available. We get them for 3 years. It's mutually-beneficial.
"Hopes of titles" and "love of their school" is just rainbows and unicorns. Sure, an occasional player may stay for those reasons, but most will leave when a good opportunity presents itself. And I don't have one single problem with that.
What's the solution? That we recruit lesser players that will stay for four years? Idiotic.

It's been well documented that LSU has lost more underclassmen than any other school in the last couple of years. There have been quite a few schools who have out-recruited us in the last few years and are not having this problem.
We haven't won any championships since this mass exodus began, so i don't think it has been "mutually beneficial" either.

You call em comical. But I member Corch Saban looking me in the eye at a hi-falutin' TAF function, and I know I respected him and he respected me just by the gleam in his eye. His boys know that proximity to Corch Saban guarantees future success, unlike Bumblin' Les the Grass Eater. It's a known fact that Alabama players hurt themselves purposely so they can petition the NCCAA AND STAY NEAR CORCH SABAN FOR A 6TH YEAR. they prefer being near HIM than going to the NFL. Phyllis spilled the beans on all this on Finebaum.
