Rettig hardly got a look, I doubt Foster will.

Rettig was one of the most highly rated QB's in the country coming out of high school, but he was strictly a Shotgun Run-N-Shoot QB. Never been under Center before. Another "Square Peg in Round Hole" Les Miles QB scenario.

So instead of having a little patience with HR in learning to take a snap under Center, they run him off because he couldn't quite run fast enough. (Which is apparently now the Number One required attribute for being a QB at LSU)
