David Gibbs is leaving UH and is looking for a new opportunity: LINK

Any chance LSU is interested? I don't know much about Gibbs, but could he be a dark horse? candidate?

Would much prefer him over Stoops, Steele, or Brick.

Houston had winning records over the last couple of seasons because of its defense--that's never happened before. It's been a decade since he was at Auburn, so he's gained some seasoning.

this is an interesting development... not many coaches just leave a job without something lined up

Was a good DC for Auburn but that was before spread/high octane offenses dominated cfb.

UH has already hired Todd Orlando the DC at Utah State as Gibbs replacement.
