True, there are many nicer places.

New Orleans is OK but most people can only grasp that if they are not alcoholics who only live to drink and watch football.

Obviously you haven't lived in a lot of places. NOLA is one of the better cities to live in when talking about work, transit, and livelihood.

Now murder and education is shitty as hell, but if your child/family lives in a nice area and go to the better schools in the city you're doing well. Ben Franklin is a top 25 school year in and year out for high schools in the nation. LSU has so many graduate programs, as does Tulane. It isn't a total shitfest like some places.

Yes Nola when considered as a major city is a nice place when factoring in those things...then again when factoring in similar arguments you could compare NOLA to ATL, Det, D.C. etc. I am sure it would win in those Head to Head Battles of shite stained cities.

...however I thought we were getting upset over players talking about better places to live...just on the NFL Map Alone I would pick

SEA, DAL, SF, NY, MIA, SD, DEN, CHI, HOU, TB, JAX, NY all over NOLA...so see on a NFL map alone NOLA is the 12/32 choice...and that is just NFL cities not actual US cities like Portland.
