Yeah, especially when that great offense is going to put your defense on the field twice as much as you're accustomed and has less talent and depth.
It should be obvious to everyone that this was personal and nothing to do with money. Chavis just isn't that ignorant. Ego got the best of him.
I also think the MLB debacle of the last 2 seasons was a scar that just would never heal for him.
