It recurred in his liver a couple of years ago. One write up said he had a total of 58 chemotherapy infusion sessions and I believe a total of 7 surgeries to remove malignant tissue since the cancer was first discovered.
He fought it hard. No wonder he won the Jimmy V award for courage this past year.
