KLAHOMA CITY -- Mike Stoops has received a three-year contract that will pay him $600,000 annually to be the defensive coordinator for Oklahoma, and he'll have a familiar face helping him. The university's board of regents voted Tuesday to approve the terms of Stoops' employment, which includes a $245,000 base salary and $355,000 for personal services and fundraising. Later in the day, the Sooners announced that Tim Kish -- Stoops' former defensive coordinator at Arizona, who succeeded him as interim coach -- would be the new linebackers coach. think it will come down to shoop and cp that stoops things was all smoke and mirrors IMO.

I will add my 2 cents.

It will either be the CP / Bebe combo or a total left field candidate. I think it will be soon too. Too much smoke out there right now. Its all a diversion.

This a direct quote from Frank Wilson who my source has a close relationship with.

"Les Miles has not offered the LSU D.C. job to anyone yet."

Honestly, I think Miles is just doing his duty as a head coach. You can't just pick the guy that your fans have anointed online. You have to look at your options at the very least.

I got frustrated and a bit worried about all the "Stoops offered job" posts, so I made a late call to a friend and business owner who talks to Frank Wilson. He calls me at all hours for knowledge on stuff I know about not LSU related, so I figured it was okay.
