There was no indisputable evidence showing that. Watching the replay and using common sense will lead you to determine they scored, but the officials are not afforded common sense. They are instructed to only go by what is 100% clearly and objectively shown on video. They got the call right. Get over it
It's pretty simple.
From the side view, we see the ball cross the plane right before he gets hit. But we can't see his knees.
From another angle, we can see his knees did not touch until after he gets hit... but we can't see the ball.
But piecing those two angles together, we know the ball crossed before he gets hit, and we know his knee touched after he got hit.
Therefore, the ball crossed the plane before his knee hit.
Touchdown.

actually, you CAN see his legs through other players legs if you look closely and you can tell without a doubt that there is no way his knee is on the ground by the way they are angled.
