Not Really, if LSU continues to schedule and win strong OOC games it will not matter

Well first, the SEC hasn't fallen. It had an off year in bowls and still went 6-4. That is banner for any other conference. Is theré another division in the big conferences that had all teams even go to a bowl? Haven't checked but doubt it.

But to answer the question. Hell no I don't care if the other SEC teams lose bowls. TAM just showed their sleezy true old Southwest Conference low class colors going after our DC because they're too incompetent to go out and get someone out of conference to make something other than a lateral move. So frick TAM and the rest of this conference. No school more than LSU supported them joining the conference. And we allowed them to wine to Slive to move our game to Thanksgiving and went along because no longer had Texas to kick their arse every year. So now we will just kick their arse every year with or without Chavis. And especially for TAM. I hope they lose every game, Sumlin gets fired and Chavis ends up looking for the next job.

i agree.

it is interesting though that the better division has done worse in its bowl games. only arky and TAM has won from the west while all the teams in the east have won (could be wrong). though that could be because of more favorable bowl matchups.

The basic notion of "SEC Unity" is the construct of a bygone era. It is dead and it will never return. That's too bad, because those really were the best days. Ten years ago, 15 years ago, a pathetic bowl season like this one would have actually caused me a little grief. I absolutely can't say that today, as I am all too aware of how much joy is taken by others when my own school struggles to correct it's course between the last championship season and the next one.

The retards who pollute forums like the SEC Rant don't help the cause any, either.

Nothing in life stays on top, everything has ups and downs. It will return. It may take a few years.

SEC dominance at the level that it has been only helps LSU if they are at the top of the SEC heap. Otherwise, it only hurts you in recruiting because your biggest competition for recruits are also SEC West teams.

SEC east is undefeated in the bowl games so far. I guess the east is better than the west. I wonder what would happen if teams from the east played teams from the west.

Only thing this bowl season shows is that the best team in the country is not in the SEC. That's it.

Was getting kinda tired of it to be honest. Many friends and just those you would bump into were becoming obnoxious about it and began to carry it about like a shroud of Turin. You couldn't pull for team X because shock...they were not of the sanctified SEC pedigree.

And the SEC by the way has as much good play these days if not more than before.

Its the SEC that's raised everyone else's game (and payroll) to compete.

We should be honored not dispirited that they have had to raise their game to compete with SEC.

I have nothing in my house that says "SEC", only LSU. Does that answer your question?

Don't care. frick the SEC admin. They're our worst enemy.

Esp reference the one-sided schedule rotations that favor certain teams and the officiating that seems to favor an agenda in many games.

I can't stand every SEC team. Hope they all lose as much as possible. Only want LSU to win and look the best. I never understood the whole "root for the SEC" thing. How does Bama or Auburn winning a national title help LSU? At least I never had to worry about Ole Miss winning one!

Not a bit. Misery loves company. The whole country had SEC Fatigue anyway, so why not let them have their fun while we are in the toilet.
