His contract is guaranteed for three years, which is when he wants to retire. He'll be over half a million dollars richer, after taxes, when he retires. While I agree with your astute football analysis, this is not a mistake.

Also, Texas has no state income tax, so he guaranteed even more money no matter what happens on the field/Sumlins career.
For the LSU fans who complain about our "corporate shift," I can't wait to see how the Ags end up paying for these blank checks they keep writing.
