If LSU is A&M's daddy then I think your wife just left you for another man. Word on the A&M side is that it's done. Chavis was waiting for a counter offer to our $1.7M (plus incentives, plus no state income tax). LSU stated the $1.33M was the best offer. Chief is effectively getting a $500K annual pay raise.

Still not sure which assistants are coming. I know a few just signed extensions, but I heard there is no buyout if Chavis isn't the DC. This last part is unconfirmed.

A&M has been owned by LSU, but for whatever reason offense eludes LSU. They will be an 8 or 9 win team. Most LSU fans I talk to expect more, but QBs like Jennings hold the team back.
