Aggie Prediction (or Faggie, Ghey, etc. for those that can't spell):
Fournette > 150 yards rushing
A&M 26
LSU 31
Fournette < 150 yards
A&M 26
LSU 20

How about we trade? We will take Chavis, and we will give you Mark Snyder, $1M in cash, and a player to be named later.

A&M is not a better opportunity. It's a step towards perpetual mediocrity. LSU on the other hand is a proven winner and not to mention, A&M's daddy. Things will work themselves out. Not worried.
If LSU is A&M's daddy then I think your wife just left you for another man. Word on the A&M side is that it's done. Chavis was waiting for a counter offer to our $1.7M (plus incentives, plus no state income tax). LSU stated the $1.33M was the best offer. Chief is effectively getting a $500K annual pay raise.
Still not sure which assistants are coming. I know a few just signed extensions, but I heard there is no buyout if Chavis isn't the DC. This last part is unconfirmed.

Texas A&M is having a scheduled press conference tomorrow to announce our new defensive coordinator.
It's not Durkin or Foster. I can't imagine why Chavis would make a lateral move to a team with much worse defensive personnel. Why would Chavis even consider a move from LSU?? Confusing.
What is the background on calling him Chief BTW?
