quite making excuses for him. serious. he needs to be watching film and working on technique all offseason. the guy barely played any football. he's about 2 inches from being cut from the league. NFL stands for NOt for Long.

Yes Johnny and only Johnny should train 12 hours a day and watch film for the other 12. No eating or sleeping at all during the offseason. He is not allowed to have any social life or human interaction.

I'm not making excuses for him. I don't like Manziel or think he will be a good pro. I think he has squandered his career and will continue to do so.
But THIS particular instance isn't a big deal, in a vacuum. Most of the single players in the league are doing very similar things right now.
