I was really into it when it was on AMC.

Fans got really pissed at the end of season 1 and stopped watching. I personally loved season 1, but fans were basically promised that the killer would be revealed by the seasons end, and they were not.

It got quite a bit worse after season 1 IMO also.

I don't know about that...season 3 was pretty damn good, but by then the show's fate was sealed. I did think season 4 was a dud though.
