Wow. A major world figure who's anti-abortion with conservative views on many things...

and preaches care for the environment along with other "liberal" themes.

I'm not converting to Catholicism anytime soon but I've agreed with pretty much everything Francis has said or done.

Well, unless the pope has created an entirely new economic model, he has to pick between this consumption culture and a decline in poverty worldwide, or condemn to poverty the poor he wants to help in order to get real climate change through.

As of yet, there is not a middle ground between decreased productivity and real climate reforms imposed on an economy.
