Top 5 Since 2010
1. 59-7 Oregon
2. 58-8 Alabama
3. 58-10 Florida State
4. 54-11 Ohio State
5. 52-13 LSU
And LSU has done this while only having an experienced QB in 2/5 years. It's the fault of the staff for not having one, sure. But that doesn't change where we stand amongst the CFB landscape.

Do you always look for negatives?
Why do you say possible 8-5 this year?
As a fan wouldn't you want to say possible 9-4? Something is fricking wrong with you. You WANT them to lose this game. Nothing you can say will convince me you don't after this bull shite you keep posting.
Eta: you admitted in the other thread you are cheering for lsu to lose.
frick you.

Those results include 2014, if you had bothered to follow the link I provided for you. And I don't understand why you continue to suggest that this is a "possible 8-5" year when you yourself predict us to beat Notre Dame.
And it's another 10-2 at minimum next year. MSST and Auburn lose their entire rosters, Ole Miss, who we beat this year, loses their QB, and USCe, Florida, and aTm are dumpster fire programs.
At worst, we lose to Alabama and Arkansas, with ZERO improvement from QB. Of course, a rational person also would grant that we can expect at least SOME improvement throughout an offseason, but I'm not speaking to a rational person.
LSU also has 3 MAJOR QB prospects lined up in the coming years. It's not near so grim as you would believe it to be.

Top 5 programs to me should be on field performance for several years recognizing schedule strength and results.
Top 5 jobs should be based on demographics and facilities for the most part.
As far as jobs go in the SEC, I think in no particular order Alabama, Florida, Georgia, LSU, and Texas A&M should be top five...Auburn at 6, Tennessee, Missouri, and S Carolina 7 - 9. Arkansas, Ole Miss, and State 10-12, Kentucky 13, and Vandy 14.
Nationally, I would say 5-10 for LSU now and in 2005.

Based on the results Maimi was clearly the best on the field leading up to 2005. But constant NCAA stuff hovering around that program and sub-par facilities probably wouldn't have made it top 5 by then. And it unraveled right after that.
It unraveled when LSU beat the sox off the 'Canes in the Chicken sandwich bowl that year. Then whipped them again after the game in the tunnel. That was there last season ranked in the top ten as I recall.

you don't think Oregon is a top 5 job now but you think it is a top program based on it's outstanding history?
I never said history is the end all be all. But a top 5 job and a top 5 program are different. Right now oregon is a top 5 program but its not top 5 job considering its proximity to talent.
